The Killer Robots! Crash and Burn
- STORY
Beyond space and time lies a dimension where machines rule the universe…
Four fallen robot gladiators are rescued from the scrap pile and turned into an elite group of mercenaries.
This was our second feature with the Killer Robots. This time we opted to use practical miniature effects. We made sets and characters out of plastic recyclables and discarded toys and composited them with our costumed actors. The script leaned more towards the visual and we pulled back on dialogue.
The result is something described by Starburst Magazine’s Michael Coldwell as “Demented, thrilling and visually ingenious”.
